Some administrative milestones:

June 23, 2010: Anand Kulkarni proposed the site on Area 51.
August 16, 2010: Private beta started.
August 23, 2010: Public beta started.
September 3, 2010: Suresh Venkat and Ryan Williams became moderators pro tempore.
November 30, 2010: Graduated beta.
February 6, 2011: Kaveh, Dave Clarke, and Suresh Venkat became new moderators. The result of first moderator election is here.

I use Scirate as a filter. It works well for QIP, as the community of users is heavily biased towards QIP.

MathOverflow, polymath, last year's massive online collaboration about proof checking the \(\mathsf{P}\neq \mathsf{NP}\) claim, cstheory, ... it seems that research is becoming more and more collaborative. :)

By the way, what do you think about the new experimental site SciRate which allows users to vote and comment on papers and preprints on arXiv? (I found it when reading comments on Scott's recent post).
